Thirty hearty sailors and friends and family enjoyed an excellent Christmas lunch with all the trimmings thanks to the tireless efforts of the intrepid ‘ Galley Slaves ‘
Six sturdy boats went out on the water to compete for the ‘ Christmas Pudding ‘ race. A cold wind ensued with some heavy gusts causing one boat to upturn but nevertheless the ‘race’ was completed and the Race Officer decided that all crew deserved a pudding for their efforts.
A good day , with lots of friendly faces. The Christmas Quiz was enthusiastically enjoyed by six teams who all scored well. Happy Christmas from the Committee. See you at the Millennium Trophy.
