Trimpley Sailing Club

The club is organising a Taster Session for the public on Monday, 28 May from 12 o’clock until 5 pm, entitled ” Try Sailing in May”. Any volunteer helpers for this event, which is often very popular, will be very welcome.

Eleven boats took part in the Easter Pennants trophy which was raced for on 2 April. Three GPs raced for the trophy which was won by Simon Fletcher and daughter Amy from Ben Roberts and Keith Budden , with Jonathan Websdell and John Cookson in third place. The JB Smith Trophy race takes place on Saturday, March 24 starting at 2 pm. This is a 2 hour race for GP14s and Lasers only. Trophies are awarded for Class winners and Handicap winners based on personal handicaps. The Notice of Race is available in the Race Hut. Come and blow the winter blues…
