Easter Pennants – 2019

The Easter Pennants series took place on April 22 in fresh (some might say challenging winds). Fifteen boats took to the water, a splendid turnout!

In the first race Tom and Simon Fletcher finished well ahead of their rivals in the GP14 class. Jonathan Websdell took the Handicap race.

In the Laser class Paul Powell finished first, three minutes ahead of Ian Davies with Mike Dalziel in third place. Charlotte Spokes won in the Handicap race on her Laser Radial.

Jacob Blakeway won the Topper race – well done Jacob !

The second race saw a reduced fleet. Tom and Simon won the main and handicap races for the GPs.

Paul Powell took the main Laser race ; a minute ahead of Ian. Mike Dalziel won the Handicap race.

In a very close  third race which there was only 10 seconds between the first and  second boat and one minute covered all three boats, Ian won from Mike in the main race with Paul in third place.  Mike took the Handicap result.
