GP 14 Open – June 18, 2022

On a dismally wet day with typical Trimpley fluky and frustrating winds, six boats competed for the GP14 Open title. Five Trimpley boats and one visitor from Nantwich sailed some close races in poor conditions , including the need to use the winch to get the boats on the water because of the extremely low levels. ( see below )

Peter Thoms and Dawn Frost from Nantwich won the title following two wins with Dave Beechey and Ian Patterson being placed second and Ben Roberts and Catherine Cliffe coming in third place overall.

Thanks to all racers, officers of the day and galley crew for ensuring Trimpley SC provided a memorable day .
