Spring Pursuit Series- April 18

On a warmish, sunny afternoon six boats took to the water for the third leg of the Spring Pursuit races in winds gusting force 1/2 !

Three Lasers , two S/H GP 14s and a Solo made up the fleet. Simon F and JC decided to test each other’s sailing skills by sailing against each other in their GPs.

The 1200 race was won by Ian Davis on his Laser with Simon in second place and Phil Pimble in third position.

In the second race JC took bragging rights against Simon with Ian sailing in third place. An interesting afternoons’ competition.
