SOLO
The Solo is the second most popular adult singlehander for our members. Their main characteristics that make it stand out from the ILCAS are a halyard connected main and pivoting centreboard. (Meaning no nead to take the mast down each time and take a daggerboard out.) They are often seen as more stable and comfortable boats due to their double chine and larger size, but speed is not decreased. The Solos are often seen fighting it out with the ILCAS on the water.
