Topper

The Topper is the most popular childs dinghy in the UK. It's characterised by its colourful sail and hull. On the smaller side the Topper is 11ft long but all are the boats are made identical ( they are a 1 design class) allowing kids to train and race against eachother fairly. We teach and coach topper sailors, encouraging children that have learnt to sail with us to carry on and race both at and outside the club in Toppers. The class has a lot of opportunities for our young sailors to develop their skills regionally, nationally and internationally.

We have several toppers available for Hire for a day for our youth sailors to use at the club, helping bring down costs for getting into sailing, as oyu do not need to buy your own boat.
